The artwork “Angeni” was created to give exspoure to people of color. I am soon to have a collection showcasing the beauty & struggle of people deemed as minorities. The title “Angeni” is actually a Native American name meaning “Spirit Angel”. In this piece I purposely created a faint vision of the young woman’s crown to express that the power of her people are still within her, Also including the symbolism of the wolf within the Native American culture. The wolf is most known for symbolizing spiritual guidance, family ties, and loyalty.
