Mocó is a South American artist, born in Brazil in 1971, and is currently based in Marin County, California. During the early years of his career as an emerging artist, Mocó established focus and goals while painting and living in Sonoma County, where he exhibited his art at Cornerstone Sonoma, the General Consulate of Brazil in San Francisco and Room Gallery in Marin County. The artist also showed more than 50 paintings in a solo exhibition at the Potengi Palace, Brazil, where he celebrated his name as a major Brazilian artist. After a brief season in Miami, Mocó built a part of his legacy and opened an art studio and exhibited at Art Basel Miami, winning with success the art lovers of East Coast. Mocó currently intersperses his work between San Francisco, Miami and South America, and he also consults and lectures on contemporary art for public education and art enthusiasts!
