During a depressive episode, I painted how I felt. Murky, halted by rocks in my path, unable to esca... pe or go anywhere to get away from the darkness that was surrounding me. After seeing the painting with fresh eyes, I noticed I was never stuck in the first place. just paralyzed by fear of messing up or making a mistake in my painting.
